Steve Rattner, the former 'car czar' for President Obama and a Wall Street veteran, dismissed Mitt Romney's record as governor of Massachusetts as simply "average" and hammered his campaign's touting of the Republican candidate's job creation record.
"When you sum up Mitt Romney’s career as a governor, it was a kind of mediocre, kind of average kind of career—nothing that’s earth-shaking, nothing that would get him elected president, except of course for having invented Romneycare," Rattner said Tuesday during Morning Joe where he regularly appears as a guest.
Rattner praised a new Obama re-election ad that accuses Romney of an abysmal record as governor. The ad says Massachusetts placed 47th in job creation and first in debt during Romney's tenure. "I think it’s very effective," Rattner said.
Obama campaign ad
In the past, Rattner has found himself aligned with the Romney campaign after critiquing the president's re-election campaign on its continued attacks on the former governor's time as head of Bain Capital. In recent weeks, though, Rattner seems to have gotten back onto the Obama campaign's talking points.
He noted that while "Romney who claimed to have created 100,000 jobs while at Bain...hasn’t been able to document it and there’s no evidence he could."

Romney is average in talent and will do an average job as president, if elected. He has nothing in his resume to recommend him except perhaps the Olympics and he is a mediocre campaigner who would get eaten alive if he had to face the caliber of reporter President Clinton did on a daily basis. President Bush was the worst, if he had even been mediocre we would not be facing these problems, but he wasn't. He was truly the president of the have mores and cannot point to a single major accomplishment. Got off point, but I think Bush is the answer to every question that asks, "What is wrong with America?" Ask anybody outside of the USA and they will be able to tell you, no problem...
Let's stop blaming and start creating jobs in the USA one call at a time.
On average most people believe a call center worker in the Philippines is making only $8.00 dollars per day. In most cases this is correct but what you don’t know is USA companies are paying upwards of $14.00 to 26.00 per hour for these employees. We are creating millionaires offshore from jobs lost in the USA. In some cases the companies themselves own and operate the offshore call center therefore moving these profits offshore.
We all need to do our part in moving these jobs back to the USA and we can do so one call at a time. The next time you either make/receive a call into a customer support, tech support or billing ask the person on the other end what country they are working from. If it is anything else but the USA politely ask for a USA person. You may be placed on hold and or transferred to a supervisor for they don’t want to lose the revenue but be persistent. By spending an additional 5 minutes doing this you will be creating demand for the call center located in the USA and they will add more people.
Please share this with you friends and family and let's bring these jobs back to the USA.
Obama continues to claim that since he took office the US economy has improved.
Obama would have us believe that he inherited an economy on it's knees but that since then it has recovered...albeit "not as quickly" as he would have liked.
Blaming your predecessor is a powerful tactic.... if only it were true
Fortunately we don't have to take Obama's word for it.
We can easily reach back into the "Google News Archives " and read 3 year old news articles on what things were like in the months BEFORE Socialist Obama ever became president and set out to destroy our economy
Here's where we were back in the closing days ...before Socialist Obama took office.
Read and decide for yourself if , after 3 years of Obama, we are REALLY better now.
