Immigration advocates nearly called on Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to quit, Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez said on Sunday morning. "There were those of us that were were this close to simply asking for her resignation," Rep. Gutierrez said. Napolitano has bragged of the Obama administration's aggressive deportation strategy.
"We engaged the president privately," said the Democratic Congressman, speaking on Up w/Chris Hayes. President Obama's announcement on Friday that he signed an executive order stopping the deportation of thousands of young immigrations who were brought to America illegally was the result of years of pressure, Rep. Gutierrez said. "I know he didn't want to do it."

I am glad that President Obama signed the order regarding young immigrants; it's the humanitarian thing to do, but I can't help wincing at Rep. Gutierrez' swagger regarding the pressure they placed on the President. I would like that much energy and push be put to good use on various other issues, such as registering and educating voters on the myriad of issues still facing us.
ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL , it is past time for the head ILLEGAL to GO!
If you lived here in Arizona you wouldn't be quite as happy about what our dictator has done. Shame on him!!
Good but not enough. It's better if the President grant each of them 50K for their sufferings for being brought to the US against their will!!! and automatically citizenship! Hope Americans could see his real intentions!!!
Thats funny MOST of us will NOW call for her to be fired....................................
