By that standard, rapper Jay-Z would be a terrific leader, Melissa Harris-Perry joked on Sunday morning. "He hasn't just worked in the private sector, he is the private sector," said Harris-Perry, on her self-titled show. "As for being a job creator, Kanye and Rihanna's careers are a testament to his skills in that area." Jay-Z owns everything from a record label to a clothing line to a nightclub chain, she said.

President Obama has turned around the economy - consider the free-fall into depression that was occurring when he took office. Yes we are much better off than we were 4 years ago.
The difference is that liberals have used the Keynsian approach of demand side economics, while the conservative have used the Hayek-Friedman supply side economics.
While the recovery is slow and likely to be affected by the European recession caused by austerity; the financial market is doing fine, and Mitt Romney and his 1% privileged class should thank President Obama for restoring their wealth, and those with 401Ks for restoring their retirement funds.

Melissa Harris Perry is only wrong about one thing here, maybe. I think that Jay-Z has more money than Romney, $400 million is at the upper-end of the estimates of Romney's net worth.
