Egyptian protesters pelted Hillary Clinton's motorcade with tomatoes and shoes earlier this week because they believed that the US has been covertly supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. But where would they get such a ridiculous notion?
"GlennBeckistan!" was the answer Rachel Maddow gave on Tuesday's The Rachel Maddow Show. She pointed to reports that Egyptian protesters have gotten their information about the Clinton-Muslim Brotherhood connection from, among other sources, self-described "rodeo clown" Glenn Beck, anti-Islamic demagogue Frank Gaffney, and Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.
"I'm not just theorizing that this where they are getting this stuff from," Maddow said. That's where they say they are getting this stuff from," Maddow said.
Indeed, according to the New York Times, "an Egyptian-American Christian who met Mrs. Clinton on Sunday cited recent claims by Representative Michele Bachmann, a Republican, 'that the Obama Administration is pursuing a closeted pro-Muslim agenda,' in a conversation with Time magazine’s correspondent, Abigail Hauslohner."

Wow, Rachel Mattlow would make an ugly Cleopathra and would need a real makeover.
Rachel is right. I heard and saw it for myself. Take note, what is ugly is ugly. There are those within our nation determined to take US down by using what they know to be a most powerful weapon. Their mouths.
The whole world pays close attention to US caring less whether you or I or they call themselves democrat, republican, independent, etc. It matters not because in the end, when enemies come for one they will come for all. 911 is witness to this fact.... Give lies and hate a microphone and they will lead them to your house, to mine and theirs. Spread the word. There is nothing new under the sun.
A funny thing happened on the way to Rachel's show yesterday. A friend directed me to this same story posted on the Jerusalem World Review. So, my take is this Rachel is right on target. What is not funny, these people are doing their very best to get this country embroiled in another Iraq, Afghanistan or Viet Nam. Even less funny these people want to use your children and grandchildren as cannon fodder. Does anyone dare call it treason?
Jordan, at what acclaimed university were you taught to misspell 'protestor'? Do you also spell actor 'acter'? Who convinced you that 'States' was singular?
I, for one, wish that more people would check their facts before they spout off.
Harumph.
Brian,
You must be a right wing troll, they don't think but do think they are knowledgeable. What grade school did you go to?
