The Republican Party has a tax plan that would raise taxes on the poor and jobs bill that doesn't create jobs, according to two reports Reverend Al Sharpton highlighted on Tuesday's PoliticsNation. Earlier that day, the Huffington Post reported that, out of the several economists they had asked about the GOP's jobs bill, "most said the GOP jobs package would have no meaningful impact on job creation in the near term."
"A lot of these things are laughable in terms of a jobs plan that would produce noticeable improvements across the country in the availability of employment in the next four or five years," one economist, Gary Burtless of the Brookings Institute, told HuffPo.
In a separate report, The New York Times noted that the Republican tax plan "would extend tax cuts for 2.7 million affluent families while allowing tax breaks to expire for 13 million on the bottom of the income spectrum, tax analysts say."
On PoliticsNation, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) castigated Republicans for what he called an "immoral" economic philosophy, saying, "When you give tax breaks to billionaires and you punish old people and sick people and children, that's a moral issue."
"These guys see that their function in life is to protect the wealthiest in America," he said.

This is so un-American, for GOP and 26 Billionares, to take from old and poor. Our country was built on promise of prosperity for all. The GOP of today, sure is not the Republican Party of my Grandfathers day.
I don't know how the GOP continually get away with this logic! Their policies border on treason: shut down everything the President wants to do, punish the less successful and poor, participate in every libelous propaganda they can think of and trample the Constitution at every turn.
I just don't get it... is the American voter this stupid?
This Republican's are jokers and frauds, they need to be fired in nov.
