Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday he deserves a "finder's fee" for raising the profile of women's health activist Sandra Fluke. On The Ed Show, Fluke responded: "I really think it's an interesting request to take credit for the voice of a woman you tried to silence," she said. "I don't think that's going to work out well."
Fluke, a Lean Forward contributor, campaigned Wednesday with President Obama in Colorado, touting the benefits for women of the Affordable Care Act. As she told Ed Schultz, the ACA "has economic consequences for women, and is so vital to both our health security and our economic security as well."
Fluke continued: "The women of America are speaking out about these policies not because of anything that Mr. Limbaugh has done but because they really care about access to the health care that they need, and they care about all of us having that health care."
Earlier this year, Limbaugh called Fluke a "prostitute" and a "slut" after she testified in support of access to birth control for women. He later apologized, sort of.

MJ remember the republicans have shown that there is no level they won't sink to in order to get what they want. She's and attorney I thought she was a STUDENT. Like I thought she spoke in front of congress. Do I get free cancer screening? Free HIV? only effects women and kids not husbands, sons and dads. Only for women not Americans That I have a problem with. About Rush he has brought more attention to her and her believes than she could ever do in 100 years. He had the whole country on this subject and when she is older and wiser she might see how much Rush helped her. She did not do it on her self President Obama and Rush was her teacher.

She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2012.
The congressional hearing that she couldn't testify at was in February.
I couldn't find the date she graduated but articles in March 2012 like Politifact were referring to her as a law student.
The preventive care that is provided with no co-pays (per the ACA) includes things that EVERYONE - men and women - use.
I think this includes your cancer screenings.
Birth control and contraceptive medicines are generally not prescribed to MEN.

Thank you Maphi! There are some people on this thread who needed to understand the kind of person Sandra Fluke is. Rush Limbaugh is just angry because he knows she is a woman of substance and that she certainly handled his degrading statements with class and style.
This may seem off subject, but why is no one expressing the fact that what the republican congress has done during the Abama presidency:

When their main goal should have been affordable health care, a healthy economy, jobs, foreign relations, the effort to save lives by bringing an end to our involvement in conflict around the globe i.e. afghanistan.
Those are the things they were elected to do not create a political vendetta. By doing this congress has not lived up to their responsibilities; they have betrayed the confidence of their constituents and the trust of (our sovereign). Does no one realize that these acts by definition constitute TREASON as defined, or is this okay because he's "not one of us"?. Take note of explanation two and three below.
