Rush Limbaugh has a problem with the four journalists selected to moderate this year's presidential debates. As Lawrence O'Donnell highlighted on The Last Word, Rush thinks they are all "far left-wing liberal Democrats."
Jim Lehrer of PBS, who'll be hosting the first encounter, has previously hosted eleven debates. Limbaugh called him a "far left-wing liberal Democrat."
CNN's Candy Crowley, who will host the second "town-hall" style debate, is a "far, far left-wing liberal Democrat momma," Limbaugh said.
Rush dubbed CBS's Bob Schieffer a "far, far left-wing liberal Democrat...and dinosaur."
And he called ABC News reporter Martha Raddatz, who is hosting the vice presidential debate, the same—except instead of a "dinosaur," Rush dismissed Raddatz as an "infobabe for ABC."
“It’s the same old media hacks handling the debates,” said Limbaugh.
As O'Donnell pointed out, there's a method to Rush's apparent madness. By working the refs, he's hoping to intimidate them into going easy on Mitt Romney, and holding President Obama's feet to the fire. It's a trick conservatives have been using for years.

It's really hard for me to listen to Limbaugh. His rhetoric has little basis in fact. He rants and raves in an attempt to the be the loudest voice, equating that with being heard. He's a maniac.
Rush Limbaugh reminds me of those fat squiggly grubs I find in my garden from time to time. These grubs are fat and their mouths are constantly snipping, snipping, snipping at the plants roots, leaves, the dirt, and anything else that will allow itself to be gouged by it's salivating mouth. This grotesque, hideous creature then burrows into the dirt to search out other prey.

Amazing. It will be interesting if media in general talks about this or if they leave it on the back shelf to collect dust. It isn't just talk radio and Fox news that is corporately compromised in America. Only 10% of Americans now trust our political media. That's the same rating as Congress gets. People know when the fix is in. The media doesn't work for Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam doesn't pay the media's salaries. The Chamber of Commerce and their associates, generally speaking, pay the media's salaries.

Obama's government found the best possible helper to expose the dirty tactics of the GOP on good old Rush Limbaugh. Where else can Obama find a better radio "personality" so devoid of standards, charisma and class that makes TV people like Kyle, Springer and Maury look like prodigies? So Limbaugh, keep calling independent journalists with such names as "far left-wing liberal Democrat", "momma", "dinosaur", and "infobabe for ABC". That would do miracles on the ratings of your discredited program and a ton of negative backlash on the campaign of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
