Since the goals of business and the needs of countries are diametrically opposed most of the time, I don't understand the appeal of a businessman president. Countries don't exist solely to make a profit which is the stated goal of every business. Even though some business practices are needed by government the most potent tools used by business to increase their profits are not applicable in government. Give me a statesman with vision and a sense of history every time.
