Mitt Romney has already been roundly criticized—and not just by liberals—for his politicized response to the Libyan crisis, in which he falsely accused the Obama administration of "sympathizing" with the Libyan attackers.
But as Ezra Klein pointed out while guest hosting The Ed Show Wednesday, it wasn't just that Romney got the facts wrong. The notion that the U.S. embassy in Egypt betrayed American values by putting out a statement condemning religious bigotry would have come as news to the Bush administration. Here's what President Bush's State Department spokesman said in response to the 2006 Danish cartoons that lampooned the Prophet Muhammed and sparked violent protests by Muslims around the world:
Anti-Muslim images are as unacceptable as anti-semitic images ... as anti-Christian images, or any other religious belief.
As The New York Times reported at the time, "a core mission of [the Bush administration's] foreign policy is to emphasize respect for Islam in the wake of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan."
Indeed, as Klein went on to note, in May 2008, President Bush apologized to Iraqi president Nouri al-Maliki after an American solider went on a shooting spree in Iraq. "He apologized for that, in the sense that he said that we take it very seriously, we were concerned about the reaction, we wanted them to know that the president knew that this was wrong..." White House press secretary Dana Perino said at the time.
In addition to his rash statement on the Libyan crisis, of course, Romney has falsely accused Obama of going on an "apology tour," seeking forgiveness from world leaders. Funny, there's no record of Romney raising a peep.

I did not object to this approach by President Bush and I certainly will not object to the current rationale. It is OK to critize, but don't even go there, until all of the facts are in.
Mitt is becoming a side show.....this cartoon reminds me of Mitt. He never seems to learn.

Time to hang it up mitt. You will definitely will make a shameful debater.
All the Facts Romney needed were in at the time of his statement. Protesters were outside the consulate when the US Officials made their statement. Romney was simply commenting on that statement. I for one agree 100%. You don't blame the Victim of a Rape. Also the members of the consulate are representatives of the Administration, just like those people with the GSA.
Darn those open mikes
First, they catch Obama pleading that he can appease Putin after the election.
Then, they catch the REPORTERS coordinating an attack on Romney
http: //www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/09/12/open_mic_catches_press_coordinating_questions_for_romney_on_egypt_libya.html
Open mikes- the only Fourth Estate left in this country.
Of course, the media outdid itself yesterday- clamoring like a bunch of zombies that a film clip ignited coordinated violence at our Embassies- completely neglecting to notice the DATE. That,of course, would have called into question the competence of Obama- who, after all, did not bother to beef up security at said locations. In fact, in Libya, there was no real security at all. No Marines, no bullet-proof glass- just a lock and key defense system.
http: //www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/81134.html?hp=l5_b1
Rather than focus on such abject stupidity, the media, like good little cult members, turned its attention on Romney, who had the temerity to call out the Obama administration for apologizing to terrorists for some unknown person hurting their feelings. We were told that it was "over the top"- by a network that showcased the breast implant story of a celebutant, rather than the ceremonies commemorating 9/11. We were solemnly informed that, when American blood is shed, politics should be shoved aside. So, what do they- or you- make of this
http: //www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/09/12/2008_obama_used_death_of_nine_troops_to_ding_bush_mccain_over_iraq.html
I suppose that because it was Obama, it was right and just.
We were further told that there was no apology- despite this
http: //www.politico.com/politico44/2012/09/white-house-disavows-cairo-apology-135247.html?hp=t4_7
It would be laughable, were it not so serious.
Let's look at the facts, shall we? The very week that team Obama- and that includes the media- begins chanting about foreign policy, we are confronted with proof that, in yet another arena, Obama is an utter failure.
The economy, the debt, foreign policy- other than his golf game, are there any areas where Obama succeeds?
metoo....can you stop the lenghty posts and get to the point? Or are you trying to spew your useless crap by F.E.A.R.?
Won't they let you post at Fake Noise anymore so you're venting your pent up frustrations here?
FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL! The TeaPuBliCON WAY!
metoo,
you are right. if one is going to coordinate an attack on someone, at least make sure the mike's are off. but stop pretending that repubs would never think of doing such a thing, OR THAT YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM STOOP TO SUCH A LEVEL.
an example of a coordinated attack would be the meeting the repubs had (kevin mccarthy, eric cantor, the sissy frank luntz, paul ryan, pete sessions, jim demint, jon kyl, tom coburn, john ensign, bob corker, newt gingrich, fred barnes and others) on the very evening that President Obama was inaugurated.
you can call our President a failure until you are blue in the face, BUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OBSTURCTIONISM IN WASHINGTON, AND THEY ARE RIGHTLY BLAMING THE REPUB PARTY.
it would be laughable were it not so serious
the american people said that every day about something w. said or did for 8 years after he was "annointed" 'president', especially after they learned that his administration LIED so they could take their eye off bin laden and take out saddam hussein instead.
w. bush and the repub party, who LOVED AND voted for everything w. wanted, including YOUR DEFICIT HAWK, PAUL RYAN.
paul ryan and the repub party are deficit hawks? the only time we hear anything from repubs about spending is when a democrat holds the office of the presidency. history has shown that repubs are the biggest growers of gov't and the deficit-DEMOCRATS ALWAYS HAVE TO COME IN AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEM.
if i were you, i would be very careful about slinging mud at President Obama. repubs were also elected to help move the country forward, and they have done nothing but obstruct, AS PER THEIR PLEDGE TO EACH OTHER TO SAY "no" TO ALL ECONOMIC POLICIES, TO ALL POLICIES PRESIDENT OBAMA PUTS FORTH, EVEN WHEN THESE IDEAS ARE THEIR OWN, AND ONES THEY HAVE SUPPORTED IN THE RECENT PAST, WHEN W. BUSH WAS "PRESIDENT". they do not even care that they are obvious, that they are blatantly denying their own ideals, as long as they think it makes President Obama look bad.
and there's always the ignorant incompetent w. bush, who you all didn't even want at your convention.
metoo...
You want tp talk about coordinated attacks?
There was More to the Consular Attack than meets the eye...
U.S. Consulate attack in Libya part of 2-prong attack
BENGHAZI, Libya (AP) — The attack that killed four Americans in Libya, including the U.S. ambassador, was an organized two-part operation by heavily armed militants that included a precisely timed raid on a supposedly secret safe house just as Libyan and U.S. security forces were arriving to rescue evacuated consulate staff, a senior Libyan security official said on Thursday.
Wanis el-Sharef, eastern Libya's deputy interior minister, said the attacks Tuesday night were suspected to have been timed to mark the 9/11 anniversary and that the militants used civilians protesting an anti-Islam film as cover for their action. Infiltrators within the security forces may have tipped off militants to the safe house location, he said.
...
The next attack came hours later. Around 30 American staffers along with Libyans had been evacuated to the safe house while a plane arrived from Tripoli with a joint U.S.-Libyan security group that was to fly them back to the capital, el-Sharef said.
El-Sharef said the original plan was for a separate Libyan security unit to escort the evacuees to the airport. Instead, the joint unit went from the airport to the safe house, possibly because they were under the impression they were dealing with a hostage situation, he said. The militant attack coincided with the joint team's arrival at the safe house, he said.
That the attackers knew the safe house's location suggests a "spy" inside the security forces tipped off the militants, he said.
.................
You want to talk about coordination... The riots caused by the film had little to do with the attacks in Libya, other than as a cover for terrorists... Romney knew NOTHING before he blamed Obama...
glad to see there are still some idiots who refuse to acknowledge the fact that there was no apology and whatever statement there was happened before the riots and were in a separate country from where the ambassador was killed
foreign service officers are not and have never been political appointees and they do not need to nor do they clear all their statements with the white house because they're professionals.....we trust they are able to do their job and they did it well
mitt romney was absolutely correct in what he did today- obama let american down - he goes off to vegas after americans were murdered?????????? come on - he is there now yucking it up with he flunkies !!! asking for money to give him 4 more years so he can really sink us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get real buddies - this is our country at stake !!!!
He cancelled his trip to vegas. Pay attention.
Mona! be sure ur Right... Then go ahead and make ur statements r u kin to Romney?
Quick question what did Romney do today.....oh yeah an idoitic press conference and email attack session of Obama.
But since you want to agree with Romney what should have been done different?
Very telling in how Romney decided to pick final hours of night on 9/11 to make such a total blunder
Hey larry, You pay attention, he did go to Vegas and he did have a fundraiser...
As always, this idiot in the WH is leading from behind.
Here are the facts, the Egyptian Gov't did nothing when the crowds were attacking the embassy, the embassy staff issued an apology, barry sat on his hands, waiting for the "facts". The facts were our sovereign soil was invaded and the local gov't did nothing that we have given $billions in aid, we do no apologize, we are under attack.
Did anyone apologize then wait for the facts on 9/11????
It is exactly the mindset of you liberal all is our fault folks that put this incompetetent bozo in charge.
They killed 4 of our Brave US Citizens, our response should be to kill 4,000 of them.
http://www.newsvine.com/_news/2012/09/12/13834706-us-officials-say-2-warships-moving-toward-libya?email=html
TWO US WARSHIPS.....moving toward Libya!
Mona get your facts straight and I am not your buddy....What are you republicans smoking anyway? It must be something strong as your minds are not working properly...
Mona, All I can say to you is whatever you believe about Romney, just google it. What you have been told about Obama, just google it. What you believe about the economy and foreign policies or anything else, just google it and I would be willing to bet that you watch Fox to get your news. If you are honest with yourself after spending some time getting the facts about Romney and lying Ryan, you will see that Mr Obama is a pretty good choice.

LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL
Posted: Sep. 12, 2012 | 6:26 a.m.
Appearing somber, President Barack Obama on Wednesday opened a campaign visit to Las Vegas by remembering four Americans who died in an attack on a U.S. Consulate in Libya, saying they gave their lives to uphold American values of freedom in a dangerous land.
"We are mindful of their sacrifice," Obama said, adding he wanted to start his speech by talking about "the tough day we had today." "We want to send our heartfelt prayers to their loved ones."
Obama vowed the United States would bring those responsible to justice.
"No act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America," Obama said to cheers from a crowd of 8,000 crammed inside the Cashman Center, which can seat up to 10,000 people.
The 30-minute rally, which went from somber reflection to boisterous cheers, ended a day of crisis for the president after the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans were killed Tuesday evening in Benghazi, possibly by extremists angry over a film they felt denigrated the Prophet Muhammad.
The attack prompted Obama to visit the State Department on Wednesday morning and to delay his three-hour campaign stop in Las Vegas for about one hour. He then traveled to Colorado on Wednesday night.
Larry I think Obama went to VEGAS........ lol Hahahahahaha YOU Pay attention.
DNFTT
Here are the facts no apology was issued by the Cairo embassy which like all embassies is not staffed with any political appointees they're trained foreign service professionals. They issued no apology for anything. Antagonizing people because their religion isn't soething the american people or its government support apparently now that controversial. But htat came BEFORE any riot happened. You idiots can't even get the basic timeline of events right.
Now I know you have no respect for human life or starting war but if you think the embassy staff should have just pulled out miniguns and killed all the people you're royal dip@!$%#. If americans rioted at an embassy in the US would and those workers killed all those american rioters would we as a nation be fine with that?
@Unreal
I do believe that the bush administration did not attack anything for at least three months after 9/11 that was because they had to get bush out the 'bunnyhole' that he ran and hid in. I am not making this up Ann Compton with ABC news was on Air Force One that day and she called and told this to Peter Jennings.
Ok- was Larry right for once? Or was he wrong again when he claimed Obama canceled Vegas?
I vote for wrong AGAIN!!!
Bugsy- I like having Larry on here. you usually works in great powhiles giants liberals while he is defending liberals.
So what rouse will the Governor use to get out of the debates? Foot in mouth disease? Terminal cranial rectumitis? I know, I know... crude but appropriate (and funny) in a demented sort of way!
They have ask to let Ann be by his side. Probaly to help him. I hope they check for an ear piece. He's going to cheet some how. You can bet on it.
Staged fright! Ha ha!
I figured Queen Ann wore the pants in that family when I saw HER driving the jetski, and him hanging on behind. If she's out there with him at the debates, watch to see where both of her hands are. One might be up his backside, moving his lips, with Rove in his earpiece telling him what to say.
I wondered how long it would be for liberals to see the good parts of the bush years. Prediction, there will be more coming as the political reasons to oppose him dissipates.
WE still don't MISS HIM!!!!!!
No- but more and more, Democrats are pointing to the fact that Obama is only doinng exactly what Bush did in trying to defend him. Whether that be in greatly expanding soocial payments, or like above, foreiign policy. Obviously, what is funny is they use the one they despise to justify their identical actions.
Rusty-2589429 #4.2~~No Rusty, they are using the radical republican congress who stuck to Bush like glue on every issue, and now, that same congress, is rabidly AGAINST Obama, on those same issues. Now that is what is funny!!
Yeah, tis a riot that the Dems are saying republicans dont spend enough and that they spent too much. I don't think anyone is defending the GOP spending. 'twas bad. Just as bad as the Dems now. I'm assuming you didn't like bush's deficits. And if you're consistent, you will be against Dems spending.
Hey Rusty
The republicans have spent way more money than the Democrats as a matter of fact where were you when they were urinating away money from 2000 to 2008? I'm sure you must have noticed and complained...
Ethel. I agree with you. I assume you think that was wrong. As such, I'm assuming you are against the spending Obama wants to do now? I mean, you think both were wrong, as I do, or you think both are right. Or,I guess, the other option is you think one right and one wrong, based on politics, thusly making the person a hypocrite. Are you the first, second, or the latter example? Love to hear from you...
Rusty~~I am with Cheney, deficits don't matter. We need good paying jobs first and then we can pay down the deficit. We can not STOP the spending. Obama is spending less than any president has, in many years, maybe ever. That is the American way, work hard, earn good wages and benefits, and support OUR government, then we can all get back to progressing with prosperity. We are all in this together. We can do this!
MITT ROMNEY was absolutely correct in coming out to comment on the TRAGEDY of the murder of Americans in Libya let alone the riots in Egypt ! Obama has the GAUL to dress down Romney on the clearly BIAS CBS NEWS - that Mitt fires from the hip - BULL @!$%# - HOW ABOUT THE BEER SUMMIT - BASHING THE BOSTON POLICE @@ - COME ON GUYS - this is a very serious time we face - and unfortunately I believe we have been lead down the garden path by Obama to this end -
Too bad he called the president in league with islamic terrorists before he even knew anyone was killed. CBS doesn't have thing to do with it....honestly that's relavent why? Today Romney revealed that his campaign is sad, troubled, divisive and utterly incompetent.
Fact is Romney and Reince Priebus have now said that the president of the united states sympathizes and intentionally support the people killing americans.....that is a charge of treason. You don't have a clue what that means you foaming at the mouth teavangelicals celebrate launching personal attacks and being as rude as possible to the other side. The far right has no class or respect when you accuse a public figure of something punishable by death with zero concrete evidence for the public. In the old days if you accused a president or leader of this with no proof you'd be the one who'd end of hanging.
But the right is now no longer beholden to facts so can't be surprised
Mona, there you go again. I feel the Boston police were wrong. And you or Romney didn't get the facts before speaking. I'll say it again. Google it. The Cynical Citizen said it right. Also, I will challenge you or Romney to say how the Obama Administration apologised. There is something else for you to look up on google. "Obama apologise for America". Just like when Romney and Ryan get up and say in their stump speeches that the economy was bad but Obama made it worse, just google it. You will find that 9 out of ten times what Romney or Ryan say is in FACT a lie! The other 1 of the ten finds that Romney has been on all sides of it and you still don't know where he stands. You must have been listening to Fox news, especially Bill O'riley, and you just don't like our President because your head has been filled with crap.
Romney is a quack.
I don't want him operating on this country and messing with our affairs.
His party hates anyone that is not a Christian, and they have no love for anyone other than themselves. Their insensitivity to other cultures, religions and politics is a testimony to that fact.
Are people really that bloody stupid? Wrong way Romney strikes again! All BS all the time. Get the facts before you open the mouth please his own party (those that have half a brain) have come out against him on this. big yap no mind. Ah who cares defend his right to be so wrong go right ahead. After all this is still America. Just my opinion mind. Romney insulted The British messed up all over his trip over seas and now this.
HELP!
Sadly not as many republicans with balls and brains to take on Romney over this, sure you've got your mavericks like John McCain but unfortunately they seem to be in the minority.....sad for party. It'll be a looong time before I can see myself willing to ever support them again........
Trevina you are sooooo right, this is pathetic and terrible. I'm not sure whether to be angry or to laugh at the Romney campaign at this point. Trevi he's got to learn how do something here right, we can't state that enough. The president had an interesting metaphor on it that Romney shoots before looking....which is a brilliant summation. I mean how hard would it have been to wait a few hours really? If he felt it was that important and fired up his circuit boards that much than he should have atleast been smart enough to say you know "...now that's just my opinion or that's the way it looks......here's what I think but I'd have get more details....blah blah" there was a ton Romney could have easily done to cover his own ass.
Honestly who the hell that this was a good idea in the Romney campaign? Seriously? Yeah know of if like to fire people who provide service to him then he might want to start with Eric Fehrnstrom, then move on to Reince Priebus. That chairman is so empty headed and hollow on this stuff that if he sat down in a chair Clint Eastwood would talk to it. His statement was the worst saying the president supports the terrorists. But watch as the right wing tries to say that is not what was said or that there was some apology or sympathy for the assailants......'course we know better.
Really it comes down to the question of what would he have suggested we do? Does he have a real answer or solution to contribute? I'm tired of all these people running around saying congress can't do anything and that Obama's spending whatever(insert conspiracy theory of choice) so it's all his fault not congressional republicans in any possible way.....the GOP found the time to try and repeal Obamacare 30 times and they certainly seemed to make the time to comment on this incident. Funny how that works or in this case doesn't work out. No more of this backseat president garbage.
President Barack Obama said on Wednesday that while he does not believe Egypt is an ally of the United States, he also doesn't consider the country an enemy. So, I'm confused. If Egypt is NOT an ally, then why the heck did President Obama forgive over $4 Billion in debt? Why did he personally sign a taxpayer provided check for $1.5 Billion and why the heck did he promise over $10 Billion in future loans?
I have no idea, 999. Why did Bush?

Indeed Caregiver we are handing out more money that most people don't even know about. I'm sure most of the nation didn't and still even after this doesn't know we've been giving them aid for decades. That is a systemic problem not caused by Obama or the current congress. Are they continuing it? Yes technically but realistically that's never happened in history before so it's more than just them. Similar to president executive powers.
On Egypt I'm surprised you can't understand what was said it isn't an ally but it's not an enemy. Quite possible in fact there are more than two oppositions. I mean Russia, are they an ally? No. Are we fighting them or should we fight them...are they the enemy? No. China, are they our friend or should we be war with them.
Seriously have you never heard of acquaintance in life which means not a total friend but on good terms.....
Our intelligence community is still trying to figure out the people that have been elected to power in Egypt since Mubarak was ousted. That is why they won't say that Egypt is still an ally nor will they say they are not an ally. They just plain don't know.
Cynical, you're right. A lot goes on that we aren't privy to. I don't know why country's that are indebted to us are forgiven of their debts (Obama and Bush aren't the only ones to do so) but if this article is right, it's a political move.

If it's true the poorer countries are then indebted to the World Band and the International Monetary Fund and we bail them out, are they then indebted to us in more ways than one?
I remember when GWB went to Saudi Arabia and begged them to up oil production. At least they didn't SHOE him out! Ha ha ha!
xxx ooo
Hilarious. I cannot stop laughing my Dad would have loved that joke!
Obama went to the Saudis and asked if they would up oil to the US...they did! Hah!
The debates are coming! And all Obama has to do is math! Woolerd only knows how to subtract and add to himself.
Don't you know? The right wing have collective amnesia concerning all things Bush. Somehow they recall Bill Clinton's foibles, even Jimmy Carter's, but Bush seems a vague and distant memory (don't even get me started on their forgetting Reagan's cut and running from the Marine barracks bombing in Lebanon in favor of taking on tiny Grenada). Perhaps this is why so many of them GOP voters seem willing to pick a man for president who has added most of Bush's key players to his management team. They're not only doomed to repeat history, they seem downright gleeful to do so.
That's why they hand picked a guy with feet of clay. And the mind of a Rolodex! Disneyland is one of your robots missing?
Hahah, I'm always saying the guy is an animatron.
He is not the robot we are looking for....(STAR WARS)
Mitt Romney unfit for pets, unfit for family, unfit for business and this is the guy the GOP wants to elect president. For those who believe the GOP has the answers lets look at the GOP record, First there was Nixon, then blunder boy Ford who kept tripping over everything, then its everyone elses fault Reagan who mouthed the words the buck stops here yet took no responsibility for his staff who followed him blindly, then there was daddy Bush, then there was GWB. What did they all share in common, borrow and spend with record deficits high unemployment and stock market crashes with a broken economy. Now they want Mitt hoof in mouth Romney as president a guy who is for everything and against everything that tends to jump the shark whenever he believes he can spin a political point before he knows what is going on, Mitt Romney a failure that can only produced more failures, which explains why every major business Bain took over bankrupted, except for those box store type businesses like staples with low wage service jobs. Yep just what the US economy needs more low wage service jobs where employees can't even afford the products they sell. Mitts future for the US, more borrow and spend with record deficits. HELL NO MITT, UNCLE SAM DOESN'T WANT YOU, self deport back to Mexico.
Made in Mexico...
whom -What I am hearing is that now the Republican party is have buyers regret.

Really moocow if we wanted your opinion we would ask Bonzo the chimp who was 10 more intelligent then all the GOP clown acts that you people backed since 1969. Here is a clue moocow hiding under your bed from 2001 until 2009 you missed out on every event that the GOP created that lead up to the middle east troubles we see today. This is what happens when you try to strong arm the world.
GWB Anchor is still a drag on the economy and because the Teapublicans made it so. Smaller government my ass they added many more trillions because of their stupid reluctance to make a deal. In fact we may never get out this hole because of it. But I do believe it was all part of the treasonous tee potty plan. As we watch Wall St make record profits all the doe goes to the top. And if you dumb sh!ts can't see that...well...FUCGIT
And now we really could use a military...guess what NO MONEY to back it up FOOLS!
Why do you think that Wall St. is making so much doe? Their not making any new jobs! They are just filling their pockets and if we get more Q3 its just more out of our future. I hope they don't do it...but they will and they will continue to fill up their pockets....we are getting screwed!

Obama has added over $5 trillion to the debt, that is more than any other president in history.
And he has his tin cup out begging for more money.
Go and read what obummer said when his was in the senate.
Then go read what he has said after he became the president.
Obummer has never lead a thing in his life.
The hoax & chains he is passig off just ain't cutting it.
Over 8% unemployment for the past 3 1/2 years.
Over 40 million people on food stamps.
Over 20 million Americans still out of work.
And all Otax-o-lot can say is more taxes more govermnet employees,.
There are fewer compaines today than when Ofoodstamps took office.
There are fewer banks today than when Oblunder took office.
There are fewer home owners today than when Oliesalot took office.
Oblunder care is killing the job growth, it killing economic growth.
Ohammerhead is making carter look good.
hol-e-cow, You don't even realize that Obama kept America from going off a cliff. Of all the things you say, look back and see how it got that way. I'll say something I haven't said before. North Carolina should be thanking Obama. It has been over two years since he loaned the money to save GM and Chrysler. Had they gone under, Ford would have followed and then there would be no NASCAR. There are only Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, and Toyota. By now I surmise that Chevy and Dodge owners would be out of new engines and there wouldn't be lots of incentive to go forward running a car with out a brand. Ford would be on a downward spiral, and a lot of good paying jobs would have left N.C.
Obummer did not do anything but start the class war.
The only things to increase under obummer, the unemployment rate, the number of people on food stamps, the number of people at the poverty leval.
Today there are fewer companies, fewer banks, fewer people with jobs, than when Oblunder took office.
John: cow pie thinks GWB kept that from happening. It thinks President Obama has out spent GWB. But then it also thinks the new deal caused the depression. I'll bet it even thinks the earth is flat. It's never posted a fact, source or link. It's rarely post a comment that even made sense. Rarely one that has any thing to do with the topic. It, as with all it's rightie friends are here to disrupt, spread lies and hate, and convince us the sky is falling. That's the way it;s been sense it's very first comment. Don't expect it to change. But it does provide the comedy for the day.
over 40% of sub-prime loans never made a payment.
It was the houseing bubble that cause the economic down turn.
But the special ed show bloggers all think it was GWB.
Just how many sub-prime loans did bush make anyway?
GWB wasn't as bad as some people thought....he was worse!
@cow
Actually Ronald Wilson Regan spent more money than Carter, Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama. Obama has spent less than any president, and those figures don't have to be combined. But somehow I am so very sure you did not mind when they meaning all those republicans urinated away all that taxpayer money.
I just dont understand how Obama did nothing to prevent the attack and, killing of our Ambassador in Libya. I thinl this is unconcienable. Kinda like Bush with 9/11.
President Reagan started his presidency with an unemployment rate of 10.7, worse than Obamas. In two years he brought it down to 7.3, better than Obama.
Go back and read the history books.
We also had one the highest inflation rates we ever had during Reagan.
He also raidsed taxes 11 times and the debt cieling 18 times.
If the Teapublicans get power WWII will seem like a picnic.
Special ED - your show is a ship of fools.
Go watch the Rush Limbaugh Show! Oops there isn't one! Boo Hoo Hoo...
I see it is trolling time for robme hood hour. To bad for the trolls DNF them.
Trolls are not real.
Now people do troll for fish all the time.
But there are no "Trolls" in the real world.
Same for jackalopes, vampires, ect. all are mythical.
And look you made it through a post without typing "teabagger".
Must be a slow day.
And that has what to do with the topic cowpie? More BS from the nobody it.
Koch watcher...clock sucker...
Why do you think that Wall St. is making so much doe?
The reason they make "doe" they have tons of bread to bake.
The stock market is the secondary market. The only time a company makes money on it's stock is on the IPO.
The stock then is traded in the market between people, the underline company makes no money from the daily trading of it's stock.
This statement Romney made about the embassy is a reminder of him bulling the kid in school by cutting his hair. This time he's trying to bully Obama but it looks like Obama is kicking his ass on this subject.
We need to stop apologizing to these people, it makes the US appear weak and gives them more confidence to attack us. They already see us as weak, that is why they did this. There is no excuse for violence, especially when we give billions to a country to try and help them. All we are doing is funding attacks on ourselves.
recycledme - Nowhere in his statement was he apologizing. He was waiting for all the information to come in before he made any statements.
robert: there you go, presenting facts. We know facts have no bearing on the righties. They don't want facts. It's their goal to bad mouth the President for any and everything even when he has nothing to do with it. OH, and their facts come from Fox Lies.
larry
Like your supposed Fact???
"He cancelled his trip to vegas. Pay attention."
How is that supposed "Arab Spring' Looking now???
@patricahayes
Everything you have posted is either obsolete or an outright lie. So you really should not condemn someone else for having made an honest mistake.
Absolutely nothing Larry posts is honest.
Why has no one asked Gov Romney whether he condemns the anti-muslim movie in question ? His response will tell us whether he too should be classified as a weak apologist he claims Pres Obama is, (then hypocritically as well), or that he is just a religious xenophobe like the movie producer.
So-is that Romney's fault?
john-----so why dont you ask him? And yes, Obama is an apologist.
John is coward he doesn't have the balls to say anything that isn't approved by the hate filled extremists in his party. He's not conservative and he can't even be a real honest moderate because he's too much of a wimp.
This is really telling who on the right has any gray matter left romney's not among them
Judge To Woman Sexually Assaulted By Cop: ‘When You Blame Others, You Give Up Your Power To Change’ and Jon Kyl: U.S. Egypt Embassy's Response In Attack Is Like Judge Blaming Woman For Getting Raped. Both from AZ.
Bad things can happen in bars, Hatch told the victim, adding that other people might be more intoxicated than she was.
“If you wouldn’t have been there that night, none of this would have happened to you,” Hatch said.
...
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) chose to weigh in on the tragedy with a rape analogy.
"It's like the judge telling the woman who got raped, 'You asked for it because of the way you dressed.' OK? That's the same thing. 'Well America, you should be the ones to apologize, you should have known this would happen, you should have done -- what I don't know -- but it's your fault that it happened.
All the Media and other Allies of the US, should be outraged and call Mitt Romney out publicly as a threat to National Security. What a disloyal act he has done, by fueling the flames of hate and anger toward the US, in a already unstable region of the world. He is definitely not fit to represent the US in any capacity on the Foreign Policy front, and his supporters should be called out by the Media as well. What cowardly Americans!!! Troops already in harms way, which he or the GOP care nothing about, and he seizing on an opportunity to incite more violence, hate & anger toward the US, and put our young men & women at Risk. No man of character would do such a cowardly act considering the ramifications of the World Stage situation, with no mention for the good men & women would have lost there lives, for a greater cause.
Don't let such small men, ever forget there Disgraceful act of Treason!!!
It's treasonous indeed.....back in the old days the liars would be the one's hanging......
this man who thinks Russia is our greatest geo-political foe has prove he's america's number one geo-political embarrassment
A diplomat was murdered and Cheney smiled. Plans right on schedule.
A man that was willing to go to Iran as a diplomat for peace not too many would take that job. So now the begs the question...who would want him dead.
