Mitt Romney is receiving all kinds of flack for his now-infamous 47% comments. But could they hurt his running mate too?
Rob Zerban, Paul Ryan's Democratic challenger for his Wisconsin House seat, told Ed Schultz Wednesday that Badger State voters are "quite resentful" over the remarks, which were surreptitiously recorded at a Romney fundraiser and posted online Monday by the liberal magazine Mother Jones.
Zerban said the comments echoed Ryan's own much-debunked assertions at last month's Republican National Convention that President Obama had gone back on a promise to keep open a Janesville GM plant . Ex-Janesville plant employees told Schultz after that speech that Ryan "ought to be ashamed of himself" for the claim.
Despite Ryan's presence on the national ticket, he's spending $2 million in ads against Zerban—a sign the 7-term incumbent may actually be worried.
Zerban, who currently trails by around 8 points, said he himself benefited from "government cheese" as a young kid and is living proof of the American dream.
After taking advantage of Pell grants and Stanford loans—students, of course, account for a good share of the 47% Romney was talking about—the Democrat started two businesses of his own that employ 45 people.
"I was one of those job creators the Republicans like to talk about," Zerban said, despite his humble beginnings. "The American dream shouldn't just be reserved for people who are wealthy and well-connected."

He wanted endless wars to line the pockets of his buddies, that's why he didn't get Bin Laden, even though there was and opportunity in 2006!
Makes me wonder about Norquist's possible involvement in the attack on our Embassy in Libya .

Cynthia..... MSNBC is the motherload breeding grounds for instigating hate and confusion against anyone patriotic to America. They say there is a fool born every minute ,and MSNBC seem to find them all. It's really a shame that these leftwing haters enjoy the freedoms in this country, that men and women have died for over the last 250 years. Oh well, this the land of the free. So far!

This is an interesting piece from AmericanThinker about Obama's potentially deadly desire to stay in power. The liberals will snicker but as Edward Abbey stated "A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government."
Our military planners are openly discussing how to kill "Tea Party extremists" who have taken over a small town in the USA. Is this "operational lay-down" merely a "cartoonish and needlessly provocative scenario," as described by The Washington Times, or is it something much more malevolent?
The military scenario appears in the July 25, 2012 issue of the respected Small Wars Journal and posits that, while Obama will be thrown out of office in 2012, ten years of race- and immigrant-bashing by "right-wing demagogues" will have whipped white Americans into gang-like attacks on non-whites.
Then, in a carefully planned operation, a Tea Party-inspired militia occupies the city hall in Darlington, South Carolina, disbands the city council, detains the mayor, and disarms the local police and/or "turns" policemen to its cause.
The article goes on to explain how true Americans will expect the military to efficiently kill, dissuade, and demoralize the "enemy" as effectively "as if it were acting overseas."
Apart from being, as the The Washington Times opined, "dark, pessimistic and wrongheaded," this scenario is noteworthy not only for the venomous description of the insurrectionists -- leaving little doubt about the authors' views of the American militia movement -- but also for the linkage of the militia with the Tea Party.
Moreover, it's no cartoon that Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and John Adams would be on Janet Napolitano's "watch" list. Nor is it funny that today, as revealed by the Small Wars Journal, their actions in pushing back, in effectuating the Declaration of Independence, would be met with deadly military force.
