Quinnipiac University/New York Times/CBS Poll
Both presidential candidates are campaigning in Ohio Wednesday, but it's President Obama who now holds a 10 point lead (53% to 43%) over Mitt Romney in the Buckeye State, according to the latest Quinnipiac/New York Times/CBS News poll.
The new poll represents a three point improvement for the president in Ohio and a one percentage point decline for Romney compared to last month's results.
The president also holds a nine percentage point lead over Romney in Florida (53% to 44%), the poll found. Compared to last month, this represents a four point improvement for Obama in the Sunshine State and a two point decline for Romney.
Obama carried both states in 2008, but both are considered swing states, and Florida, in particular, is known to swing red. Both states have Republican governors, and former President George W. Bush carried Ohio and Florida in 2004.
Florida represents a heavy 29 electoral votes, the most of any swing state, and Ohio holds a significant 18 electoral votes.
"He's not driving a consistent message," Mark Halperin, a senior political analyst for Time and MSNBC contributor, explained on Morning Joe Wednesday.
Romney is also behind in Pennsylvania by 12 points, the poll found. Pennsylvania, a state Obama also carried in 2008, is worth 20 electoral votes. Bush won the state in 2004.
The political director for the Romney campaign disputed another recent poll in Ohio showing Obama ahead of Romney.
"I kind of hope the Obama campaign is basing their campaign on what the public polls say. We don’t. We have confidence in our data and our metrics," Rich Beeson told reporters, according to NBC News.

Ha Ha Ha... Sweet Queen, if Obama stays there ain't going to be no Medicare, Social Security or even Food Stamps. Who ever wins, this country has a tough time ahead. With $16 Trillion and growing national debt the interest on the bonds is going to absorb all of our budget. Right now we are paying 0.6% on those loans, which means that 'ONLY' $96,000,000,000 ($96 Billion/year) is going to debt interest. When that gets to 6% we will be paying $1 Trillion/year in interest payments. In the Late 70's and early 80's the US was paying 9% on our debt, that would be $1,440,000,000,000 ($1.4 Trillion).
All that is assuming that we wasn't still adding to the debt, but the last trillion only took 270 days to add. So we will probably be at 22-24 Trillion debt at the end of Obama's next term. That is why there will be only IRS agents working for the government and our working poor will be destitute.

Dear Mitt: If you are planning to win, ultimately, by rigging the outcome, then you need to get your poll numbers a little bit closer to the president's. You cannot steal an election from an opponent who is polling in landslide territory.
If you are buying the Liberal presses numbers, look back at what they predicted in 2010.

I think President Obama is going to win the Presidential election come November 2012. There is no doubt about it. Mitt Romney is not a strategic and point-making campaigner. He is more of a biased politician and, that has negatively affected his mind set, politically and economically........Obama leads the campaign.

If you want a Poll to support a preconceived notion, then stack the deck. The NY Times supports Obama and the Democrats so they use a Poll that favors Obama and the Democrats. The Poll heavily favors Democrats. The Florida sampling was 27 Republicans to 36 Democrats, in Ohio 26 Republicans to 35 Democrats, and in Pennsylvania 28 Republicans to 39 Democrats. Is it any surprise the Poll indicates Obama is leading in these states? If you want even a bigger lead don't Poll any Republicans at all, you would have a landslide.
I am starting to think these tainted Polls are being done specifically to be used to justify the results of a Rigged Election!

I just saw a crawler on the Romney Defender Channel CNN, that Romney said his heart ache's for those that are suffering.Yeah how much longer will those whining one percenter's at the dinner,donor party have to suffer through paying 13% or less tax rate on their fortune's? Dems Welcome Muslims, Prohibit Christian Hospitality in Charlotte!

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (9/11/12) When the DNC came to Charlotte, area churches, 100 of them, offered hospitality, not knowing how much the Dems hate God and would actually boo God at the convention. They had no idea how that hatred would be directed at them and their churches.
The Sunday before the DNC, over 9000 people had come together to pray for the convention. Then, wanting to extend hospitality to the visitors to their city, 56 of the churches set out to “Adopt-a-Delegation.”
They put together gift baskets featuring Carolina Pralines and a letter welcoming them to the city and offering assistance in transportation, childcare or spiritual matters.
According to writer, Todd Starnes, The DNC banned the churches from distributing the gift baskets to delegates because, DNC said, the congregations hold values that are contrary to the party platform. Read that carefully.
David Benham, one of the organizers of the outreach said, “We were just trying to display Southern hospitality.” DNC officials, however, conveyed to city leaders that the Christians would not be allowed to present their gift baskets.
Even the Charlotte Mayor’s office jumped in to tell the churches not to participate, saying that their views on women’s rights are contrary to the platform. That’s right….the same platform that booed God later.
Benham then asked if they could send welcome letters to the delegates. Again, the DNC refused, because, they said, “The churches hold pro-life values.”
The baskets did not contain a single political or pro-life message. They just wanted to give them regional candles and a welcome letter. The DNC refused to return numerous phone calls seeking comment.
But it gets worse. When a gathering of 200 Muslims showed up to pray for the convention, the Dems welcomed them with open arms and the liberal media gave extensive national coverage.
It is ironic that this day, in the shadow of that Islamic prayer event, we commemorate the greatest tragedy in American History, when Muslims attacked America on September 11, 2001, brutally killing thousands.of innocent people.
Muslims who publicly state their hatred of our country with fierce determination to kill us all and put America under Sharia Law, are welcomed by the Democratic Party while Christians are pushed out of sight like criminals because they respect life and hold family values.
These are the same democrats who want you to vote them into office to direct the United States of America and every life from beginning to end. It is obvious that we must not let this happen.

The polls are very encouraging, but people must still VOTE. In order for the president to win re-election, we must not be complacent.

Beeson is trying to keep the fantasy going. Robme has so many nails in his coffin already and that undercover 47% video was the final one. No matter what he says now, nobody's going to believe it. Only the brainwashed, blinded by BS Repubs believe that crap. But I think they know it too and just don't want to give up the ghost. If Dems take back the House and add even more to the Senate AND Obama stays in, I don't think the Repubs will ever be able to get a real foothold again. Especially if the economy improves with Dem leadership, which I'm sure it will. With the rise of minority populations voting Dem, the rich, old, white men are being marginalized and it's scaring them to death.
MJB- They said a similar thing in 1994 about if Bill Clinton would win. It will weaken them for a time, but they will rise up again, but maybe they won't be so radical.

Republicans are scared in ND... Today it was reported that calls were being made to voters saying that absentee voting is illegal in ND. However, the secretary of state is getting the word out that voters are allowed to vote using an absentee ballot, and that they can contact their county auditor or the secretary of state to get their ballot. Thank goodness! Maybe we will have the people of ND wake up, and turn the state blue too.
