Lawrence Wilkerson, the former chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, skewered Mitt Romney’s foreign policy team on Monday, saying their policies make his stomach turn.
Wilkerson took particular aim at John Bolton, former President George W. Bush’s ambassador to the United Nations—and now an adviser to Romney.
“The man scares me to death,” Wilkerson, a retired U.S. Army colonel told MSNBC’s Ed Schultz. “He would defeat all the enemies in America and the world—and believe me they’re plentiful—and he’d do it with everyone else’s blood. John is like Dick Cheney, never served a day in his life and wouldn't serve a day in his life … These people make me sick.”
Wilkerson’s harsh rhetoric comes on the heels of Romney’s foreign policy speech earlier in the day, in which the former Massachusetts governor laid out a hawkish approach.
Without offering much in the way of specifics, Romney vowed to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, go after terrorists who attacked the U.S. consulate in Libya, and work to ensure Syrian rebels obtain arms to defeat Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
"Utterly unbelievable, Wilkerson said, blasting Romney as “operating on a Cold War music sheet.”
Asked about former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s endorsement of Romney’s speech, Wilkerson declared that Rumsfeld, one of the key architects of the Iraq War “has zero credibility with me and he’ll never regain it again.”

You first have to understand why IRAN hates us. Does the civilian population REALLY hate us? I know some Iranians that are grad students and Professors, they do not hate us, in fact they want what we have and want freedom. I may agree that there is a risk of some terrorist group getting a nuke, but that would lead right back to the country of origin based on the radiation signature of the bomb, yes we can figure that out fairly easily and quickly if you knew something about physics.
It is inevitable that a terrorist group will eventually get a nuke, but do not fear because if this happens and a nuke is detonated it will create a world nuclear war and then many will die, including all Muslim extremists and any country that aids them will be wiped out. We may suffer great losses, but no where near the losses the Islamic world will suffer from the retaliation. I just hope that this does not happen and people grow up and come out of their ignorance. A nuke war will definitely take them out of ignorance and then they will realize they were wrong.
If we could just get these people to learn math and science "before" they learn the book of Islam, I think they would understand that the book is an old history book and the author was prejudice and racist to make comments about killing the infidels or anyone who insults their profit. Obama cut 718 billion out of waste, fraud and abuse to overpaid providers of Medicare in order to put the money into increasing senior's benefits such as saving them money on prescriptions and allowing free preventative care such as exams, etc.
Ryan took the exact same amount out of his and Romney's plan, but did not USE IT TO BENEFIT seniors. Now that is a fact.

While the cuts may not have targeted benefits, as more and more doctors and hospitals drop Medicare, fewer and fewer service providers will be available to ensure service in a timely fashion. A Senior for example may still have the same benefits, but he may very well have to wait longer or drive farther to get those benefits. The answer is in human nature. Would you be willing to continue to work for an employer that significantly cut your wages and could cut those wages again and again in the future?

Everything Wilkerson said in his interview is spot on! I think Romney is so misguided by his advisers. He lacks so much knowledge on important issues and he is so out of touch with the average person, he relies on the crazies he has surrounded himself with to put words into his mouth! Unfortunately for him, none of them get their stories straight.
If man should have learned anything from war, is that he does not have the intelligence, or possibly, the desire to avoid it. It is, indeed, a detriment to all of mankind that our ersatz world leaders(?) suffer such intellectual impairment! Perhaps the wits -at least the half they have left to them, of these self -styled world leaders and aspiring leaders, would be sharpened in opposition to such conflicts, if they, its instigators, as well as those who espouse and Vote for war - as Romney, and, particularly, those who profit from it, were required by Law to be in the front lines of all of its ensuing battles.
If there was ever such a Law, we would soon see and end to all wars!
